Shiva Fire Flow

A Shiva inspired flow where we will be working the Manipura Chakra, activating

Our inner Agni (fire element). Through this practice we will be getting out of our

comfort zone. We will be working with fiery and balancing poses.

Balancing poses are a great way to test our egos and to also build resilience

throughout our practice. Our egos will want perfection, and through this practice we will call on Shiva’s energy to help us find strong and healthy egos, and finding inner harmony and strong Manipura Chakras.

Shiva is one of the three most important Hindu gods, he is known as the god of destruction, and the destroyer of the ego. Our egos however our needed in our everyday life, they keep us safe, but keeping a healthy relationship with our ego is so essential.

Through this asana practice we will build resilience by coming back to our breath even when the poses get challenging. This in the hopes that when life gets challenging, we can come back to our breath, we can be better at finding love and compassion even with life’s challenges.

We meet our ego in the face today and build deep love and compassion within our ourselves. Starting today on our mat.

*What you will need:

-A yoga mat

-Yoga blocks or any Tin/Can
